As everyone knows (or should know) the Tournament Rules state that only species of bass count towards the Spring Open. It been pointed out that perhaps other species of fish should count. As you can see from the photo below, some anglers (Chuck and Bridgett) have landed large bluegills.

Bridgett - 0 lb 13 oz bluegill
It is recognized that perhaps the rules are less than crystal clear, so the benevolent Tournament Office will leave it up to you, the angling community to decide if bluegill and other "garbage" fish should count towards the creel count. Please vote at right.
All fish are garbage, at least that is what BP Oil thinks, so what is the difference?
ReplyDeleteI am getting tired of Species discrimination. Some day the Bluegill may be the only fish that survives the radiation tainted waters of Fermi, so treat them with respect.
In any case how can the tournament officials be trusted with rules when they cannot even spell? "As everyone knows (or show know)"
I agree with the comment above....
ReplyDeleteTo comment on the poll "When Will Bridgett's Fishless Streak be Broken" She did catch a fish so she is no longer fishless just Bassless so who ever voted for this week wins in my opinion!
